As a robot designer myself, that system can run faster, that robot is waiting on people more than people are waiting on it. It should have a prelim camera check so the tractor can advance to the next active area quicker instead of wasting time looking around the area its at. There should be an encoder on the speed as well to track apples virtually on a linear plane.
Is this intelligent enough to identify rotten apples and not bin them with the good ones? And what's the plan for preventing damage to the leaves? It looks like right now the leaves are getting ripped off by the vacuum hose.
